Day 1

ARRIVAL

16:00 We will meet at the Krakow Airport or other airport or place upon agreement. Please arrive to the airport before 16:00.
18:30 Arrival to the High Tatras and dinner together on the way to accommodation. Briefing about the trip

Day 2

Green Lake Valley

8:00 Breakfast

8:45 leaving for the hike. In the morning we will take the cable car to Lake Skalnate where we will start the hike and will be walking towards peak Velka Svistovka. There is an amazing view from this peak at the Belianske Tatras and the whole Valley of Lake Green. We will descent to one of the most beautiful places in Tatra mountains to have a lunch by Lake Green. This break will be followed by a walk through the forest back to our village.

Day 3

Peak Koprovsky

8:00 Breakfast

8:45 leaving for the hike. Today we will visit one of the most popular places – the village of Strbske pleso, where Lake Strbske is situated. We will set on the hike to Peak Koprovsky, which is almost 2400 meters high. The view from the top is literally stunning. The biggest lake in the Tatra mountains – Lake Hincovo is on the way at 1900 meters.

Day 4

Slovak Paradise

8:00 Breakfast

8:45 leaving for the hike. Today you will explore the Slovak Paradise and one of the longest and most popular gorges in the park – Sucha Bela gorge.

You’ll walk through water, climb over fallen trees, ascend ladders, and even pass through a window-like hole in the rock. Along the way you’ll pass waterfalls, rock formations, pools and more.

Day 5

Hike the Velicka Valley

8:00 Breakfast

Hike to a pretty mountain lake located at the foot of the highest mountain in Slovakia, Gerlachovsky Peak (2655m) and eat lunch with a waterfall view, then explore the famous Tatranska Magistrala trail as it winds through a labyrinth of dwarf pines and spruces.

  • We will meet in the Arrival zone of the Krakow Airport in Poland at 16:00 or some other place upon agreement. Please, arrive to the airport before 16:00. You will be dropped off at the Krakow Airport on the last day at 12:00. Book your flights back after 13:30 - 14:00.

  • The hikes that we are going to walk on this trip will be of medium difficulty. Everyday we will walk approx. 18 km with the total vertical ascent of 1000 metres. Some of the hikes involves short part of scrambling, so previous experience with scrambling is welcomed. The hiking trails in the High Tatras are pretty rocky. Therefore a good pair of hiking boots with ankle support is a must.For hiking in the Slovak Paradise you can´t be afraid of heights, climbing ladders and walking on catwalks couple of meters above the ground.

  • Absolutely. Just let us know about your catering preferences when you confirm your booking to ensure any dietary requirements are met.

  • The basics are: Sturdy, broken-in hiking shoes or boots; Rain/windproof jacket; Lightweight, breathable hiking shirts and trousers; Warm jacket or sweater; Water bottle; Small rucksack for carrying personal items; Swimsuit and towel; Sun protection (hat, sunglasses and sunblock); Trekking poles (optional but recommended)
