A perfect activity in amazingly beautiful region of Sulov mountains. This place was made for mountain biking and especially E-bikes. Explore the area on electric full suspension mountain bikes (German Haibikes) on 2-4 hrs long ride, depending on your level. The E-bike day tour is suitable for at least intermediate bike riders, however we can also cater not so experienced bikers. You will ride a mix of forest roads and meadow trails with gravel, mud and tree roots. There is a little bit of asphalt road in the villages too. You need to be especially careful during downhills.
We have 2 trails ready for you:
1. Easier
Length: 18 km, Elevation of 550 meters
You will see the famous Sulov mountains from all sides and angles with beautiful views of surrounding villages and hills. This tour will take around 2-3 hrs. It is also possible to make some extensions, if it would be too short for you.
2. More difficult
Length: 23 km, Elevation of 790 meters
You will get to the top of the Sulov rocks, to a viewpoint with great view of the area. Plus you will also come to a medieval castle ruin of Lietava castle. This trail also includes a stop at an amazing swing by a small lake as seen on the photos. The tour takes around 3-4 hours. It is also possible to extent this tour to up to 30 km, if it would be too easy.
This tour is a private day tour and can be run for 1-3 people. It is heavily dependent on the weather conditions and also weather on previous days. If there was too much rain and the terrain is too wet and muddy, the tour would have to be cancelled.

HOW TO JOIN FROM BRATISLAVA??
Get on the train R603 at 8:13 from Bratislava and get off the train in the town of Povazska Bystrica at 10:09. The train goes in direction Kosice. We will meet you at the train station. It´s 2 hrs ride through beautiful landscape of Slovakia on a train and it´s fairly easy to find the right train.
You can also arrive with a different train (earlier or later) if agreed in advance.

Itinerary
Tour Plan
We will meet in the morning at 9:00 in Trenčin, Žilina or nearby. Or at 10:00 in Povazska Bystrica, if you will coming by train.
We will take you by car to the village of Sulov, where we will start biking after initial briefing. We will agree on the trail, which suits you the best. We will be biking in the area for couple of hours with possibility to stop somewhere for a drink, possibly a lunch, however you should have a packed lunch.
The ride will take approx. 3-4 hours and you will be back in your hotel or train station at around 13-14:00.
