Come with us to Fatra mountains to try snowshoeing in Slovakia on your own. Enjoy winter wonderland, beautiful landscapes and breathe in fresh icy air. Our snowshoeing tour is ideal for beginners and those who don´t need to rush anywhere. You will walk for approx. 4-5 km and walk around 250 meters uphill and back down. You will also stop in a mountain hut, with an amazing view, for a drink or food.

MEETING IN ZILINA
Day Tours are intended for visitors of Žilina and surroundings. Are you on a business trip or backpacking in Slovakia? Then this trip is right for you. We will pick you up in your hotel in Zilina and drop you off back.
If you would like to book this tour, but you are based in a different place than mentioned before, don´t hesitate to contact us, even if you are visiting the different part of Slovakia.
HOW TO JOIN FROM BRATISLAVA OR OTHER PLACE??
If you would like to book the tour but you don´t stay in Zilina, you will need to make your way there. For example by train. Do let us know where you stay and we will advice you, what is the best option for you.
Bratislava – You will need to get on the train in Bratislava either at 6:22 or latest 7:27 in the morning and get off the train in the town of Zilina. The train goes in direction Kosice. We will meet you at the train station either at 8:00 (preferably) or 9:29, depending on the train you take. Just let us know, which train you prefer.

You don´t have to necessarily book the the tickets back to Bratislava, but if you insist, it should be after 15:00 or later.

Itinerary
Tour Plan
We will meet at 9 AM in Zilina in front of your hotel. If you are coming by train, we will agree on a different meeting time.
60 minutes transfer to location with ideal weather and snow conditions.
Snowshoeing for about 3- 4 hours with a lunch stop in a mountain hut.
Coming back to Zilina at around 3 PM.
