You will hike for 3 days and on one of the days we will take you to the most beautiful castle of Slovakia – Bojnice castle and to unique rural village with “gingerbread” houses – Cicmany. You will definitely appreciate an afternoon visit of local spa resort to relax in geothermal water after couple of hiking days.
If the weather will be ideal, we will take you for one of the hikes a bit later to see the winter sunset. We will give you headtorches to go back down to the car in the dusk. However only if you request this adventure.

This is a private tour intended for couples or small groups of friends or family. The itinerary may be flexible and will depend heavily on the weather conditions.

The hikes that we are going to walk on this trip will be of easy and medium difficulty. Everyday we will walk up to 10 km every day with the total vertical ascent of maximum 600 metres with steep ascents. You don´t need any previous experience with hiking, just to be in a good shape to be able to walk the hikes every day.

Tour Plan
The itinerary of the tour may be changed due to the weather conditions or group abilities.
ARRIVAL & MEETING
We will meet in Bratislava, Krakow, Vienna or other place upon agreement. We should meet latest at 15 – 16:00, but we can agree on meeting time individually.
Transfer to the hotel and settling down
Mala Fatra day
Hiking in the Mala Fatra National Park. We will take a cable car straight to the highest mountains, walk to the highest peak of the area, walk on the main ridge and stop for lunch and drinks on a local mountain hut. After hike you will visit a traditional restaurant to try local specialties or just to buy some special local cheese.

Strazovske hills – Sunset hike
If you would like to experience something special, we can start the hike today around the lunch time to see the sunset from the top of the mountains. If you don´t like the idea of going back to the car with headtorches, we will start in the morning as usual and hike to the highest peak of the area.

Sightseeing and spa day
Today you will take it easier and visit the most beautiful and romantic castle of Slovakia – Bojnice castle. Later you will also walk through a small rural village of Cicmany, where old wooden houses are decorated with various ornaments. You can´t find a village like Cicmany anywhere in the world. But wait, that´s not all. In the late afternoon we take you to will stop in local spa resort to relax in geothermal water and saunas after couple of days hiking.
Klak mountain
Today you will walk to a well known and iconic Klak mountain. Just for locals of course. You will through beautiful forest until you come to the highest point. But keep in mind that it will be probably windy there. So make sure you have enough warm clothes.
